Alana De La Garza has gained a following on television. In the year 1976 De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father and an Irish-American mother in Columbus Ohio. The family moved to Texas for the purpose of pursuing a career as a physical therapist within the University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Florida, Orlando and was involved in various character roles. This included independent local films and international commercials. It was there that she discovered her passion in the field of acting, despite small roles. The year 2001 saw her move from the Midwest to New York where her first part was in All My Children's daytime soap opera as Rosa Santos. Through the early part of 2000 she appeared in small roles in JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she got a role in her debut series role in The Mountain The Mountain, which was a television show that lasted only a few episodes. De La Garza played Maria Serrano as well as some of the top TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi, and Mitch Pilegge. Her most memorable character was on Law & Order where she appeared as A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was featured in 85 episodes. Her character on the Law & Order: LA spinoff was short lived. De La Garza received several nominations in the character's honor, such being Best Supporting Actress Television Imagen Foundation Awards or even ALMA Award nominees. In 2008 she took home the Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. Just a few minutes later, De La Garza was cast for CSI Miami in a recurring part. She performed the role of Marisol Deko in the role of wife of David Caruso's role as Horatio Caine. Her most recent TV appearance was with NBC's rather darker thriller Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. The series was cancelled after only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Milano has an Italian father, as well as a younger brother Cory whom is 10 years younger than her. The family she was raised in was an exceptionally religious and conservative family. Milano began her career as a child when her nanny accompanied her to an acting audition. Her audition was among over 1,000 hopefuls. Milano was chosen among only four girls.
